In the 2020 World’s Best Cities Report, Resonance Consultancy ranks the world’s best cities with populations of more than a million, using a combination of statistical performance and qualitative evaluations by locals and visitors in 22 areas grouped into six core categories: Place, Product, Programming, People, Prosperity and Promotion. The ranking includes 100 cities assessed by experts according to infrastructure, attractions, urban environment and economic prosperity.
London still reigns atop the planet’s best cities for the third year running. Moscow has moved up to the 5th position and has shown an upward trend in five of six core categories. Russian capital has left behind megacities such as Barcelona, Singapore and Dubai.
