Association of Virtual and Augmented Reality of Russia and the CIS (AVRA) presented a study "Application of AR / VR in industrial enterprises". 
50 companies participated in the research (64% large companies, 12% are medium-sized, the rest were small and micro businesses.)

Key findings: 

•  AR / VR is no longer incomprehensible for most industrial enterprises in Russia: key cases and parameters for assessing their effectiveness have been identified. The technology was also supported at the level of the state strategy: in the summer, along with artificial intelligence and robotics, AR / VR was included in the list of end-to-end technologies of digital economy.
• 82% of enterprises in Russia consider AR to be more promising than VR.
• AR / VR projects are usually implemented on average in 6 months to a year, and the cost of implementation is about 10-30 million rubles.
• In 2020, 68% of enterprises plan to invest in AR.
