According to a survey conducted by NAFI analytical center, 72% of teenagers use ATMs, 46% use payment terminals. Many schoolchildren have personal bank cards (59%). Having a smartphone and a relatively high level of digital literacy allow teenagers to use mobile and Internet banking (56% and 38% respectively).
Despite the fact that cash remains the most common method of payment among teenagers (42%), a lot of of schoolchildren make non-cash payments (32%). Almost half of teenagers (43%) use smartphones to make contactless payments.
The majority of Russian teenagers claim that they are well aware of the possible ways of fraud with bank cards (55%).
