The service allows clients to buy the food surplus which restaurants and shops are not able to sell on time at a 50% discount. Lastbox also makes it possible to place information about the available products and dishes in the service. One of the main requirements to be connected to the service is to provide the actual address, where the client can pick up the order or use the service on the spot.

The client can purchase products via mobile app that shows the locations nearby, sorted by geolocation. The client buys the chosen food and dishes paying for them online right away, and after that he can collect his order within a certain  time period.
