The system is used in crowded places to detect faces in real time, maintain a structured photos card-index and related information, search by photos and related information in the card-index, as well as in a video archive.

Vizir can simultaneously identify the faces of people in the crowd that come in sight of the camera, even when the physical characteristics of the face change (age hardening, appearance and disappearance of the beard and mustache, change in skin color). When applied at the airport, it can recognize a passenger by his face along the entire travel route, recognize him at the check-in desk, open passages to the high-level lounges, provide passage through the turnstiles at the boarding gate.
