An experimental prototype of a domestic quantum computer with cloud access and a cloud platform for processing critical information will appear in Russia in 2022, ANO Digital Economy reports.
These projects were discussed during the consideration of the new leading research centers on the platform of ANO Digital Economy.
“Kvantovye vychisleniya” (“Quantum computing”) leading research center presented a project to create a domestic quantum computer and a cloud access interface. The experimental model of the computer will appear at the end of 2020, and in 2022 a prototype of a quantum computer will be created, and cloud access to it will be provided, explains Alexey Fedorov, Head of “Kvantovye vychisleniya” research center created on the basis of “ICQT” (“International Center for Quantum Technologies”).
“Doverennye sensornye sistemy” (“Trusted sensor systems”) leading research center established at the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) presented a project to create a cloud platform to process sensor information. It will be developed by 2022.
The cloud platform will automate the interaction of the existing digital platforms for managing technical systems by collecting and processing sensor information.
One of the features of the platform is the ability to integrate with external domestic systems for automated control of equipment at industrial enterprises, rapid digitization of measurement results and the highest level of information security, explains Alexey Pereverzev, Head of the leading research center of MIET and Vice-rector for Innovation Activities.
