The technology park of the Leningrad Region, St. Petersburg metropolitan area, will host laboratories and experimental enterprises for the study of AI.

The Scientific and Technological Center Primorskaya Dolina will be created on the basis of the Maritime Technical University. The main production will be located in Primorsk.

According to the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, the city will provide the necessary support in the creation of a technology park. In addition, the authorities supported the university's application for a grant under the Priority 2030 Strategic Academic Leadership Program.

The goal of the Priority 2030 program is to form a group of universities that will become leaders in creating new scientific knowledge, technologies and developments for implementation in the Russian economy and the social sphere.
