A procurement competition has been announced in Moscow to test the technology for finding free parking spaces in the courtyards.

The degree of occupancy of parking lots in the courtyards will be determined by processing images from CCTV cameras. The system is expected to distinguish between parking, road, lawn and sidewalk, and build models of parking spaces with real-time status.

In addition, the system must determine parking spaces for people with disabilities or for special equipment. It is expected that the recognition accuracy will be at least 85% both during the day and at night.

The technology will be tested on the streets of Yunyh Lenintsev, Kubinka, Selskhozyaistvennaya, as well as in the village of Shishkin Les and Zelenograd.
