As follows from the explanatory note to the draft budget for 2021-2023, Russia will spend almost $218 million in three years. for the federal project "Artificial Intelligence".

In 2021, $54 million are provided for the project, in 2022 - $86 million , in 2023 - $78 million.

The project should ensure the demand for Russian developments in artificial intelligence, support staff and increase the availability of data necessary for the development of AI technologies.

On August 31, 2020, the Government Commission on Digital Development approved the federal project "Artificial Intelligence".
