In Moscow, with the participation of the city government, an autonomous non-profit organization (ANO) will be created, which will be engaged in the implementation of innovations in healthcare. This was reported by Vedomosti with reference to interlocutors close to the Moscow mayor's office.

The working name of the structure is ANO "Moscow Center for Innovative Technologies in Health Care", it will be headed by Vyacheslav Shulenin. ANO will develop new medical technologies, search for and implement innovations. In particular, the organization will have to become a “one-stop-shop” for medical startups. Another task of the center is to conduct clinical trials, "so that as many companies that deal with them as possible do research, and then the results are adapted to the needs of health care." Another area of work of the new center is data science.

As part of the work of the center, it is planned to create a medical technopark, where all developments in medicine will be concentrated. According to the newspaper, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has already signed documents on the allocation of two buildings to the center on Vernadsky Avenue for the needs of the technopark. The project will be presented at a meeting of the Moscow government on March 30.
