The Information & Computer Technologies Industry Association (APKIT) and the Association of Software Developers Russoft proposed to simplify the process of entering the stock exchange for IT companies through state support. The associations propose to compensate the companies for the costs of preparing for an IPO, extend tax incentives for investors, and also make “non-governmental pension funds’ savings available for investing in public technology companies”.
The measures may interest the IT companies with annual revenues from 1 billion to 25 billion rubles, which are included in the register of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media or are members of specialized associations. The representative of the Ministry said that they had received proposals from associations, which are currently “being considered”.
