According to the decree of the government of the Russian Federation, the statement requiring will be valid until January 1, 2028.

In total, the Ministry of Finance, which has been appointed by the responsible department, expects to receive up to 1,300 applications from different companies. The accreditation will be valid for an indefinite period.

The procedure is carried out in order to determine the organization's ability to provide identification and authentication services for individuals, the Ministry of Finance stated. Without the introduction of these measures, there is "a high risk of large-scale leaks of biometric personal data," according to the ministry.
