New Industry Venture Fund has invested in the developer of AI image recognition systems NVI Solutions.
The investments of the fund, owned by Gazprombank, Gazprom Neft, RVC and VEB Ventures, will go to the development of the Cyclops automated software complex. The AI system is designed to detect safety violations and monitor technological operations in production.
The prototype of the complex has already passed industrial tests in pilot projects at the facilities of Russian energy companies. The system is planned to be finalised by 2022 and introduced into production processes of several industrial customers. It is also planned to conclude agreements with Russian IT integrators to replicate the product both in Russia and abroad.
