The Department of Transport of Moscow announced that it had completed the first stage of testing of the taxi driver digital profile system. The digital profile will contain basic information about drivers: data on licenses, permits for transportation, fines, number of hours worked, etc. In August, the system will be launched in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

In addition to taxi drivers, taxi companies, individual entrepreneurs, medical workers who conduct pre-trip examinations and taxi technical condition inspectors must be connected to the digital profile system. It is assumed that the system will reduce the overtime work of drivers and restrict access to ordering illegal taxis.
