Educational platform Uchi.Ru has bought a service for distance learning YaKlass. The terms of the deal has not been disclosed.

After the deal is completed, 76.6% of the service goes to Uchi.Ru, another 27.4% will be owned by Uchi.Doma (controlled by Uchi.Ru). The company clarified that they will use the methodological base and audience of Yaklass to promote the platform's services among adolescents.

Yaklass's revenue last year reached $3.6 million (267 million rubles), while net profit was $1.3 million (98.1 million rubles). Uchi.ru’s revenue for 2020 amounted to $23.1 million (1.7 billion rubles), while the company's net profit reached $2.8 million (216.5 million rubles). The platform is used by 8 million Russian schoolchildren.
