The export of Russian software increased by almost 20% year-on-year in 2021, TASS reported citing the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.
Chernyshenko notes that at the moment a set of measures aimed at developing the industry is being implemented. In particular, “about 4 billion rubles are allocated annually in the form of grants to support IT projects and companies deploying digital solutions,” Chernyshenko added.
According to data from RUSSOFT, 22.8% of Russian software companies planned to enter or return to foreign markets in 2021 . 21.9% of companies were making similar plans for the following year.
