The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of the Russian Federation and IT companies, including 1C, Avito, Aliexpress, Wildberries, VK Group, Lamoda, Ozon, Russoft, Sberbank, Cian, Yandex, and Akit, have signed a memorandum that establishes the principles of interaction participants in digital markets.
The document is a self-regulation tool and is aimed at creating non-discriminatory conditions for users.
In particular, according to the document, companies must provide free access to information about the ranking of search results and abandon "opaque rules" in user agreements. This applies to blocking and deleting accounts without warning.
