On May 25-26, Moscow will host Smart Cities Moscow, an international online forum, which will mark the start of the annual offline event of the same name. During the forum, Russian and foreign experts will discuss the infrastructure and technologies of a smart city and its sustainable development. Main topics of the sessions:

May 25

  • Smart Cities: Challenges and Solutions (a plenary session, which will focus on practices and technologies to combat COVID-19)
  • Smart mobility and logistics
  • Safety and security of a smart city
  • 5G tomorrow. How Next Generation Networks Will Change the World
  • AI-Driven City
  • Data-driven city planning

May 26

  • Smart cities and super services
  • Energy transition as a new reality
  • Sharing culture. Version 2.0

The invited speakers are Eduard Lysenko (Head of the IT Department of Moscow Government), Vasily Brovko (Director for Special Assignments of Rostec), Elena Bunina (CEO of Yandex in Russia), Tomas Eneroth (the Minister for Infrastructure of Sweden), Theo Blackwell (London’s Chief Digital Officer), Doreen Bogdan-Martin (Director of the ITU Telecommunication Bureau), Jose Antonio Ondiviela Garcia (Microsoft Western Europe Public Sector Industry Solutions Executive for Government) and others. The organizer of the forum is the Government of Moscow.
