NRNU MEPhI will sign an agreement with 11 IT organizations to create a full-cycle microelectronics design center. These organizations include the Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences, MCST, Baikal Electronics, Hi-Tech, Astra Linux Group, Eremex, KEAZ (Kursk Electrical Equipment Plant), TimTech, Kraftway, Aerodisk and VedaProekt.
The center will include laboratories and authorized training centers of participating companies. The staff of the center will be approximately 50 people. The center will focus on:
The unique projects of the center include the development of a complex CAD system for microprocessors and IP blocks and the creation of a Russian graphics processor and SmartSSD technology.
