Gazprom Neft intends to use the capabilities of artificial intelligence to reduce the number of laboratory tests of lubricants and increase their efficiency. In the future, the neural network can independently propose formulation options, said Alexander Trukhan, General Director of Gazpromneft - Lubricants.According to Trukhan, the company intends to open its own scientific and technical center for the development of oils at the Moscow Lubricants Plant in Fryazino. With its opening, Gazprom Neft will become the first Russian company capable of independently conducting fundamental research in the field of tribology, the science that studies the processes of friction, wear and lubrication.
