Gazprombank together with IT_One (part of the GS-Invest group) have announced the creation of the GPB-IT1 joint venture, according to the bank's press service.

As Gazprombank clarified in a statement, "the new IT company will focus on the digitalization of the banking business." GPB-IT1 will also develop the bank's service ecosystem, implement open APIs and develop artificial intelligence.

The bank's plans to create a joint venture came out in July 2020.
