HR Startup Skipp Raises $635,000 in the First Round

HR start-up Skipp, which is developing a platform for hiring IT specialists, has raised $635,000 during the first round. The funds will be used for international development and attracting developers from the CIS countries.

The overall valuation of the startup at the end of the round was $5 million, Forbes reports. Investors included co-founder of Skyeng Denis Smetnev, the Managing Partner at Skyeng Alexander Laryanovsky, and the former CEO of Delivery Club Andrey Tsytsenko.

Skipp was founded by Alexei Odin, the former CTO of the Lingualeo educational platform. According to him, there are now more than 5 thousand Russian-speaking job seekers in the startup database. The monthly revenue, according to him, exceeds 14 million rubles.
