ITMO University scientists won an international competition to create AI for diagnosing inflammatory disorders.

The participants had to create an optimal machine learning algorithm to accurately determine what kind of inflammatory bowel disease a patient has based on the results of non-invasive diagnosis.

The team from Russia became the only one to win in two categories of the competition. In total, the organizers of the competition received 81 applications from 15 scientific teams from different countries.
