Kaspersky Lab has become the holder of more than 80% of shares in Brain4Net, which develops solutions for telecom operators. The rest shares will be reserved for the founders of the company.
The sellers were Rostelecom as well as venture funds Typhoon Digital Development and LETA Capital. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
As the result of the deal. Kaspersky Lab plans to offer customers not only information security services but also secure telecom solutions, such as a set of cloud-based security services, a threat detection and response system across the enterprise infrastructure.
