Kaspersky Lab, a Moscow-based cybersecurity company, developed a video analytics system Kaspersky Neural Networks that recognizes objects in images transmitted from drones. In particular, the neural network can recognize people in disaster areas, houses, cars, animals, etc., Vedomosti specifies, citing the developers.
The difference between Kaspersky Neural Networks and the products of competitors on a global scale is the ability to receive data on identified objects in real-time, Kaspersky developers noted. In particular, recognition can be carried out directly by the drone, while the system is intended to serve the Ministry of Emergencies and other rescue services.
The cost of the hardware and software complex is not disclosed by Kaspersky Lab.
