Mail.ru Group revenue grew by 20% in the third quarter

Mail.ru Group has released unaudited IFRS results for the third quarter of 2020.

The aggregate segment revenue from July to September increased by 19.9% year on year and amounted to 26.37 billion rubles (equivalent to $345 million) In the first nine months of the year, the aggregate segment revenue increased by 20.1% compared to the same period in 2019 and reached 74.2 billion rubles ($975 million)

Advertising revenues in Q3 increased by 5% to 9.5 billion rubles ($124 million). Excluding search advertising revenues, the advertising revenues increased by 8.6% to 9.4 billion rubles. ($123 million).

MMO games revenues grew by 33.8% and reached 9.6 billion rubles. ($125 million). According to the company’s forecasts, in 2020 MMO games revenues will grow by approximately 30%.

Community IVAS revenues in Q3 reached 4.2 billion rubles ($55 million), a 8.3% increase. The company expects that in the future the growth of community IVAS revenues will remain below 10%, and their percentage in the structure of total revenues will decline. Other revenues in the third quarter increased by 63.7% year on year and amounted to 3 billion rubles. The LFL revenue growth of Mail.ru Group is expected at 17-19%, and the revenues may reach 103 billion rubles. EBITDA margin is expected at 24-27%.Mail.ru Group Unaudited IFRS results for Q3 2020
