Residents of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone and scientists from the National Research University of Electronic Technology are conducting research to create a facility to print microcircuits. Research work is being carried out on the premises of the university in consultation with the specialists from the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center, which has already invested $4.6 million (more than 300 million rubles) in the project.
With the help of the facility, specialists plan to launch the production of chips with feature sizes of 28 nm or smaller using Russian synchrotrons and plasma radiation sources. If the project is successful, development work will be launched to create a lithography device.
