An innovation microelectronics center will be opened in Moscow this year. The center will be located on the site of the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET) in the special economic zone Technopolis Moscow. Specialists of the scientific and production divisions of the center will be engaged in design, engineering, technology transfer and training of personnel in the field of electronics. Investments in the project will be approximately $20.1 million (1.5 billion rubles).
Specialists from the Zelenograd Innovation and Technology Center and Proton plant will work in the center together with scientists from MIET. The creation of the center will help resolve import substitution issues in the electronics industry.
