The Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation has released a draft amendment to the state program "Information Society", which approves its strategic priorities. The document was published on the portal of regulatory legal acts.
According to the project, by 2030, broadband Internet should cover up to 97% of households. In the same period, it is necessary to increase the share of mass socially significant services available in the electronic form to 95%, while the receipt of accessible content should get to 100%, the document says.
The goals also include an increase in investments in domestic solutions in the field of information technology by four times compared with the indicator of 2019. As the authors of the document clarify, the growth in investments should be due to the growth in the quality of domestic solutions and the needs of the market. In particular, the ministry plans to create a favorable environment for the development and implementation of domestic solutions, including tax incentives.
It is expected to increase the competitiveness of such developments in the global market, as well as the availability of funding for startups.
