More than Half of Russians under 30 Would Like to Launch Their Own Startup

More than half (56%) of Russians would like to create their own startup. This is stated in a joint study by Citymobil, VK Groupe and ResearchMe, in which 990 people aged 18 to 30 took part.

Only 18% of respondents have their own plan on how to develop a business, and 38% regard it as a dream. At the same time, 4% of respondents have already tried themselves as a manager by launching their product, but would like to repeat this experience. Another 22% never wanted to have their own business, and 14% did not even think about it.

Advertising and marketing technologies were among the most attractive industries for a startup, 38% of respondents voted for them, 33% of respondents voted for food and grocery delivery services, a quarter of respondents chose educational technologies, and 17% voted for medical developments.
