Moscow Citywide Wi-Fi network has reached the ninth anniversary. The network contains more than 24,000 Wi-Fi hotspots and is available within the Garden Ring and the Third Ring, as well as in almost 1,000 facilities and organizations. In 2022, about 800 new hotspots have been added, and the amount of traffic has exceeded 8 million gigabytes. The first Wi-Fi hotspot was installed at the Frunzenskaya Embankment in 2013.
