Moscow has moved up four positions in this year's international fDi and TNW Tech Cities of the Future ranking, taking 14th place among 76 European cities with the most promising prospects for start-ups, technology and innovation investment, leaving behind Frankfurt am Main, Warsaw, Vilnius, Milan, and others. The three leaders included London, Paris, and Dublin.
In addition, Moscow took sixth place in top 10 cities with the best startup environment. Analysts also examined such indicators as “innovation and attractiveness”, “economic potential”, “efficiency of foreign direct investment” and “economic efficiency”. The ranking of technological cities of the future has been conducted by fDi Intelligence since 2020.
