Moscow has become the 16th metropolis, which was included in the number of representatives of the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA), created by the Singapore government to help startups to bring their products to foreign markets.
The Singapore Enterprise Agency (the parent organization of the GIA) will support Singaporean start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises in entering the Russian market, while Russian enterprises will be assisted in entering the Southeast Asian market.
According to the assistant to the head of the agency Edwin Chow, the volume of investment in innovation in Russia today is more than $868 million. At the same time, over 30 companies from Singapore are participating in innovation activities related to Russia.
Representative cities of the alliance also include Bangalore, Bangkok, Berlin, Jakarta, London, Manila, Munich, Paris, Beijing, San Francisco, Suzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tokyo, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Earlier, it was reported that the Moscow Innovation Cluster (MIC) has become a member of the TCI Network, an international network for the development of innovations and clusters.
