The authorities of Moscow will allocate 5 billion rubles (equivalent to $64.7 million) to support industrial enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses in 2021, TASS informs with reference to materials for the meeting of the presidium of the Government of Moscow.

The funds will be used for updating fixed assets (purchase of equipment, leasing operations), creating new products, supporting exporters, franchisees, soft loans, etc.

The publication reports that in 2020, as part of anti-crisis measures, the access to financial support measures has been simplified for small and medium-sized businesses - the lists of recipients of subsidies were expanded and the number of documents submitted by applicants was reduced. New types of subsidies have been introduced, including the subsidies for promoting goods online and exporting goods. In 2021, the measures mentioned above will be maintained.
