It can turn on music, audiobooks, fairy tales, plan the day, find out the news, manage smart home devices and suggest facts that can be found on the Internet. In the near future, it is planned to add a voice call function, control of TV set-top boxes, etc.
"Marvin" will run on smart speakers, which the company announced at the end of 2019 earlier. Sales of smart assistant speakers will start later. Now "Marvin" can be installed as an app on smartphone.
Yandex was the first Russian company to introduce a speaker with voice assistant "Alice" in may 2018. Last year, sales of speakers could reach 320 thousand units, and the market volume — $33 million, the company Just AI estimated.
