The launch of NashStore, a Russian app store for Android, is scheduled for May 9th. According to Vladimir Zykov, project director of ANO Digital Platforms, the creation of the app store was driven by the sanctions against Russia, which made it “impossible to use Google Play to buy and pay for applications normally”.
Developers are considering various payment options compatible with Mir cards. More than 700 companies cooperate with ANO Digital Platforms in creating the store.
