The national system for countering DDoS attacks is planned to appear in Russia by the end of 2024. By the time, General Radio Frequency Center (GRFC) intend to fully cover the Russian public telecommunications network with technical means of countering threats used for traffic filtering.

The institution plans to "ensure multi-level monitoring and repel more complex and specific attacks". According to Sergey Khutortsev, director of Public Communication Network Monitoring and Management Center of GRFC, an anti-fraud system is also expected to be adopted.
