Neiry, a neural interface developer from Moscow, attracted 541 million rubles (equivalent to $7,3 million) from the Project Support Fund of the National Technology Initiative and external investors. The startup plans to expand its presence in the international market; currently, the product is being sold in the USA, Singapore and Kazakhstan.
Neiry develops neurotechnology and creates brain-computer interface products for education, entertainment, industry, medicine and personal use.
“In 2021, we plan to launch a new version of SDK, which will allow developers and scientists from all over the world to create their own software in which control using “power of thought” will become available”, says Tatiana Aleksandrova, CCO of Neiry.
The company plans to create several algorithms for analyzing brain bioelectrical activity: one will be able to determine the level of human cognitive resources, and the second will connect the brain and the computer. The collected data will be stored in anonymized form.
