Netflix streaming service will be completely localised in Russian five years after its launch in Russia, its operator in the Russian Federation will be the National Media Group, TASS reports.
According to Olga Paskina, General Director of NMG, the deal is part of the implementation of NMG's strategy to achieve leadership positions in the digital and content segments in Russia. According to Vedomosti, by the end of the year Netflix will have a completely Russian interface, many foreign TV series will be available with Russian subtitles and / or voice acting. Also, by the end of the year, about 100 domestic films will appear on the service.
We are pleased to provide Russian viewers with access to Netflix service and content in Russia. NMG and Netflix are working on the full localisation of the service.
