Moscow Department of Transport has reported in its Telegram channel that the intelligent system will determine whether the driver is wearing a seat belt and is not using a smartphone while driving. Photo and video recording systems take up to 25 images per second, each of which is processed by a neural network.

According to experts, today the algorithms are already developed enough to accurately record these violations. Initially, the information is read by reference points: headlights, windshield and car license plate, then hands and face of a person are determined in the area of ​​the windshield.

The technology was launched in test mode in February of this year.
