Moscow public Wi-Fi operator MaximaTelecom has won the bid from the Moscow Traffic Control Center (CODD) for the installation of 2,000 CCTV cameras with intelligent analytics on the roads of the city. Cameras will be installed in three phases before December 2023.

They will be equipped with a video analytics system based on neural networks for monitoring and analyzing the traffic situation, promptly detecting road accidents and other abnormal events. According to a representative of the data center, there will be no face recognition function in the new system.
