NIIAS Institute, of which 75% is owned by Russian Railways, will determine the developer of AI system for recognizing asocial behavior on Moscow Central Circle railway. The procurement for the creation of a software and hardware complex was published on the public website.
Monitoring will be carried out at stops and in the salons of the Lastochka electric trains. Offenses will be detected in real-time using cameras, video analytics and acoustic data. The latter include screams, tone of voice, manner of speech, loud noises, explosions, and non-standard noise situations within the composition.
It is assumed that the hardware and software complex will be introduced together with the launch of the regular movement of unmanned trains on the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) (scheduled for 2024). The tests of the new development as part of the electric train are scheduled for 2022.
