Online English language school Novakid (a Skolkovo resident) raised $4.25 million in round A. The Hungarian PortfoLion (part of the OTP Group) was the lead investor. The American fund LearnStart, which is part of the LearnCapital investment company, the Korean venture fund BonAngels, the LETA Capital fund and the venture fund TMT Investments also invested in the startup. The investment amount of TMT Investments amounted to $500 thousand, the shares of investments of the other participants were not disclosed.

The funds are planned to be used to support the growth and development of innovations in the project.

Novakid was founded in 2017 by Maxim Azarov and Dmitry Malin. The company is registered in the USA.
