Participants of two streams of the Moscow startup development program StartHub.Moscow have raised $12.4 million (more than one billion rubles) for the development of their projects. Fintech startups attracted the biggest investments, accounting for 43% of the funds raised. Startups in the fields of human resource management, transport and logistics have drawn much attention as well.
Moscow-based companies received most of the funding (70%) from various founds, while 12% came from private investors, and another 12% were given in the form of grants. Russian fintech service Joys was one of the most successful graduates of the program. The funds raised by the service amounted to $5.1 million (418 million rubles). Joys is followed by Skipp service, which has raised $2.7 million (218 million rubles). Ubirator platform has raised $855,800 (69 million rubles).
