Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared 2022-2031 the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia. The relevant decree is published on the official portal of legal information.

According to the document, the main goals are to attract talented young people to the field of research and development, to promote the involvement of researchers and developers in addressing essential tasks of the development of society and the country and to make information about the achievements and prospects of Russian science more available to Russians.
