Qiwi Technologies LLC (subsidiary of Qiwi) bought 80% of Taxiaggregator platform for taxi companies. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of this year. It has become part of Qiwi's strategy to develop a proposal in the payment segment for the self-employed.

The remaining 20% ​​of the platform belongs to its founder Alexander Merzlikin. He will continue to develop the project, and will also launch products in the taxi market within the QIWI team.

According to the company itself, today Taxiaggregator serves about 2.8 thousand taxi companies and more than 308 thousand drivers.
