According to NTI Autonet survey, 79% of Moscow residents are ready to use self-driving taxi. At the same time, the largest number of self-driving cars is being tested in the country, RBC reports.

In general, 77% of Russians aged 18-65 are ready to use self-driving taxi. 83.3% of people aged 25-34 are ready to use unmanned taxi services, and they are the group most ready to embrace the technology. In total, 10.5 thousand residents from all million-plus cities of Russia took part in the online survey.

In 2019, only 60% of Russian residents were ready for self-driving taxis.

According to KPMG, in 2019 Russia was ranked fourth in terms of readiness of people for self-driving transport (following India, Mexico and UAE).

Earlier, Yandex Self-Driving Cars representatives explained that commercial unmanned vehicles would be implemented firstly in small cities and then on the outskirts of major cities and after that in the centers of large cities.
