Research: the number of cyber attacks increased by 22.5% in Q1

Positive Technologies presented a report on cyber attacks for the first quarter of the year. The number of attacks has grown by 22.5% compared to Q4 of 2019. Around 13% of all phishing e-mails were related to COVID-19. The percentage of attacks aimed at individuals was 14%.

According to analysts, the number of attacks on remote workers will increase in the future. The companies can face increased attempts to hack corporate accounts and exploitation of vulnerabilities in remote access systems.
