Rosstandart approved eight artificial intelligence standards

Rosstandart approved the first eight artificial intelligence standards. The head of the department Anton Shalaev announced this at the international industrial forum “Intellect of machines and mechanisms”. According to him, at the moment there are standards in transport and security, and also in the field of recognizing people’s intentions based on biometric data.

The standardization program in “Artificial Intelligence” area was approved by Rosstandart in December last year. It includes the development of 217 standards that regulate the safety of AI systems for people and the environment.
