Rostec and ER-Telecom acquired control over the Internet provider Akado. The package (75% minus one share) was transferred to the M-Kom joint venture. The parties do not disclose the amount of the transaction, but, according to Kommersant, it could range from $53.6 million to $67.1 million (3-4 billion rubles).
The partners plan to create a platform for the development of digital technologies, including 5G wireless communications, the Internet of things, smart city systems, video analytics, and data centers. The new owners expect that the services will be in demand by private organizations and the public sector.
